Press Pioneers: Podcasting is designed for curious and creative rising 5th–8th graders with an interest in journalism, especially the fast-growing world of podcast storytelling. Campers will learn how to research topics, conduct interviews, write compelling scripts, and record and edit their own audio segments.
 
Through hands-on projects and collaboration, campers will build confidence as storytellers while exploring what it takes to bring a podcast from idea to final production. By the end of the session, each camper will help produce an original episode that showcases their voice, perspective, and growing skills as a young journalist.
