Employment Opportunities

Program Director


Program Directors are leaders that possess experience teaching, coaching, or leading a group of campers or students. Throughout the day, they are responsible for creating and leading activities that engage campers from K through 10th grade. Program Directors are responsible for supervising their Program’s assigned Group Leaders, Specialists, and Counselors.




Assistant Camp Nurse


Interested applicants would work in close conjunction with the Head Nurse and the Director of the Summer at Park in promoting the health and well being of the students and staff. The Head Nurse will determine staff organization and scheduling. Must be in compliance with all state, federal, and American Camping Association regulations. Responsibilities for a nurse would include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the seasonal move-in, setup, and move-out of the health office.
  • Assess campers/staff on site and determine whether in house treatment will be sufficient or if necessary, send the camper/staff member to a local health care provider.
  • Work in close coordination with the Director and Head Nurse to assess campers and address parent concerns.
  • Comply with all state, federal, and American Camping Association regulations.




Senior Counselor


Senior Counselors assist the Program Director or Group Leader by providing a specific group of campers with physical and emotional safety, enjoyment, and an overall positive program experience. Counselors are expected to:

  • Provide for the physical and emotional safety of all children.
  • Plan and run group activities throughout the week.
  • Assist in helping children have fun and develop skills.
  • Be present from Monday through Friday, 8:15AM - 3:45PM




Group Leader


Group Leaders are leaders that possess experience teaching, coaching, or leading a group of campers or students. Throughout the day, they are responsible for creating and leading activities that engage campers from PreK through 2nd grade. Group Leaders are responsible for supervising their Group’s assigned Counselors.




Junior Counselor


Junior Counselors assist the Program Director or Group Leader by providing a specific group of campers with physical and emotional safety, enjoyment, and an overall positive program experience. Counselors are expected to:

  • Provide for the physical and emotional safety of all children.
  • Assist in helping children have fun and develop skills.
  • Be present from Monday through Friday, 8:15AM - 3:45PM




Lifeguard & Swimming Instructor


Lifeguards & Swimming instructors must have current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate (WSI preferred) or be able to complete the training prior to the beginning of the camp season

  • Monitor and/or teach swimming activities for campers aged 4 - 15
  • Monitor swimming activities of Swim Club members
  • Be a positive role model, team player, and possess a good attitude
  • Demonstrate flexibility
  • Put Safety first on a busy swim deck
  • Come ready to have fun, learn and teach




Extended Day Counselor


Extended Counselors assist the Program Director by providing a specific group of campers with physical and emotional safety, enjoyment, and an overall positive program experience. Counselors are expected to:

  • Provide for the physical and emotional safety of all children.
  • Assist in helping children have fun and develop skills.
  • Be present from Monday through Friday, 3:00PM - 6:00PMPM
